Henri Saivet (born 26 October 1990) is a Senegalese football player who currently plays for English club Newcastle United in the Barclays Premier League as a Central midfielder or a winger.
He is a France youth international having starred at several youth levels.
Career
Bordeaux
In 2007, he signed his first professional contract with Bordeaux, thus making him the youngest professional player in the history of the club.
He subsequently made his professional debut during the 2007-08 season, at the age of 17, in a league match against Lens.
Newcastle United
On 11 January 2016, Bordeaux manager Willy Sagnol confirmed that he gave Saivet permission to leave the club.
Later that day Saivet officially signed a five-and-half year contract with Newcastle United, joining for a reported fee of £5 million.
Algeria beat Malawi 2:0 in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday to be on the verge of booking their place at the final in Morocco.
Cape Verde have leapt into the top 10 of African teams in Fifa's world rankings for September.
Cameroon hit form to thrash Ivory Coast - They continued their resurgence as they hammered Ivory Coast 4:1 in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Yaounde.
• Sudan vs South Africa 0:3
• Guinea vs Togo 2:1
• Senegal vs Egypt 2:0
The 24-year-old Senegal international has moved to Upton Park after agreeing a four-year contract. His 43 goals over the last two seasons helped Metz win back-to-back promotions into France's Ligue 1.
Sierra Leone have climbed 14 places in the Fifa world rankings for August, lifting them into the top 50 for the fist time in their history.
N'Daw, who has played 44 times for his country, started his career in France with Sochaux in 2002.
Ba joined the Blues from Premier League rivals Newcastle in January 2013 on a three-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The Senegalese international defender has signed an extension which will tie him to the club until 2016.
Ba's finish came just as Chelsea looked to be on the way out after Schurrle and Oscar were both denied by the woodwork - although the London side were helped by a crucial miss from the normally reliable Edinson Cavani minutes before the decisive goal.
